Woven Layers - wallhanging - ‘Leaves weaving’
This woven painting has come forth from a love for textile and a curiosity of what my original painting (the last image shown) would do, how the layers would show, what the extra dimension of yarn will bring to the work. In 2018 I got the chance to translate 5 paintings into woven paintings. This is one of them.
approximately 155 x 210 cm, jacquard woven at Textielmuseum in Tilburg
in a rich blend of linen, merinos wool, mohair and eco cotton
this weaving will only be made on request and in a maximum edition of 7 pieces.
delivery time will be between 2 to 6 weeks as the Textielmuseum has full schedules for their workshop.

the weaving can anso be mounted in a plain wooden frame. This is included in the price.
-shipping is not included as the piece is too big for postal services. you are more than welcome to collect the Swarm in my studio or we can arrange a courier to bring it to your door-
