The Zwermbloem is printed manually on one of the traditional printing presses at a graphic workshop in the eastern part of Amsterdam. (www.grafischwerkcentrumamsterdam.nl) The technique I used for making this is called ‘Polymerprint’. A reliefprintingtechnique. This is a perfect way for me to print my drawings in small editions.
Working with this old machine makes me slow down, I enjoy the process of printing every copy, piece by piece.
Every Zwermbloem is signed, numbered and packed them for you in my studio. Enjoy!
Because the printing plate is worn out, there won’t be made any new prints so this is the final batch that is available.
